Himalaya Tandoori Restaurant in Bridgnorth Wins Editors Choice Award at the Curry Life Awards at the Hilton Hotel Park Lane, London on November 3rd 2019.
Dave Miah of Himalaya Tandoori Bridgnorth managed to scoop the Editors Choice Award 2019 having competed against restaurants right across the country. Nominations for the Editors Choice Award are made by the editor of the Curry Life Magazine, the country's leading trade restaurant magazine that champions culinary innovation and high standards in Indian restaurants. Just 5 restaurants across the country won this coveted award which is finalised by a public vote.
In a local celebration at Himalaya Tandoori, local customers, dignitaries and trades people from Bridgnorth joined Dave Miah and his team to wish them well. Included in the pictures below are Mayor & Lady Mayoress & Bridgnorth Counsellor Ron and Carol Whittle and Philip Dunne former Health Minister.
Himalaya Tandoori are well known in Bridgnorth and more widely for the quality of the food. So this national recognition is richly deserved, and is another feather in the cap of South Shropshire’s well established food scene. I congratulate Dave and his team on this tremendous achievement
