We have been coming to this restaurant for over 20 years now, and being ex restaurant owners ourselves we truly appreciate the hard work and expertise this restaurant offers. The food is nothing but excellent, the restaurant is very clean, well organised, friendly and very accommodating staff, and the owner is superb. Please keep up the good work as we wouldn’t go anywhere else for indian cuisine.Many thanks for numerous visits over the years. Superb!!!!!!

Kid-friendliness: We have grandchildren and although we try our hardest for them to not be too noisy and make too much mess, we are always greeted with a very warm welcome every time we visit this restaurant. Huge thanks to all xx

Friendly and homely.

We had a fantastic time out here and would definitely recommend it to others. David (the owner) was extremely thoughtful and attentive to my husband and I (accomodating a small baby we needed to bring with us amongst other things). The food came quickly, service was excellent and David was able to recommend dishes for us from the menu based on what we told him we liked. The food was delicious and portion sizes were just right (not too small like you get in some award winning restaurants and not too big so you end up having to leave half your food). We will definitely be coming back here when we are in the local area.

Absolutely worth a visit,  staff friendly and helpful,  nothing too much trouble, food amazing and prices worthy of the quality and quantity you receive

Nice little place been here a couple of times

Curry was nice. Staff were quick and attentive. Only thing that was negative was toilets. They were upstairs (not sure if they had a disabled toilet) and the stairs were quite old and the carpet was chunky which didn't help because the tread wasn't very long. So it would be really easy to trip and fall down them.

Three of us went there about 7.30pm on a Monday night. The food and service was excellent as were the prices. Highly recommended 🍺🍴👍

Went here for dinner, the Lamb Dansak and Peshwari Naan was the best I've ever had. The place was busy but I still felt looked after while I ate.

So consistent! To say this place is consistent is an understatement. Been coming for years and never been disappointed. The deliveries made by Gesh got us through lockdown.

In my opinion best restaurant in town always good food.

Our favourite place to eat for the last 25 years. Warm welcome and great food.

Good service even though it was a very busy saturday night ( with diners and the takeaway orders) when we went.  The popadoms,  bahji, veg byriani were excellent. They did lemon rice special for me to go with my chicken jalfrezi ( quite a few chillies so I had to go easy and pick some out). Would definitely go again.

Very nice Indian cuisine. Nicely decorated, clean and tidy. Good service.

Top notch foodwise we could not fault it and would recommend them to anyone. The only reason they don't get 5 stars was one of the waiters was decidedly unfriendly. Smiling is not optional...but it certainly helps.

The interior was very well decorated and very welcoming. The staff was friendly and helpful in making a selection. I tried a sampler for 1 that really did fill me up. All 100 kg of me. Went here in the past with a client and both enjoyed the food., I’ll be back!!

Amazing night
Went for a large family gathering. The place is small but such a cozy feel to it. The staff were prompt, pleasant and respectful of the party. The food was to die for. The chicken tikka masala was just amazing and the service was top notch. Will be visiting again. Cant wait!!!!

Great food!
Went in on the off chance as we hadn't booked. Temperatures taken on arrival and track and trace completed efficiently. Staff attentive and helpful h suggestions. Food superb - arrived promptly and was excellent value for money. If we return to Bridgnorth, we'll revisit.

Best Indian restaurant in Shropshire, awards speak for themselves.......
We’ve been going to Daves for over 20 years (every Friday) and I can safely safe its the best Indian restaurant I’ve ever been too, which is saying a lot as I lived in Mumbai for 4 years, so we’ll aware of what good Indian food is..... It’s won the best curry house in Shropshire for several years. I’ve been to all the Indian restaurants in Bridgnorth and they don’t even compare. First class food, first class service and first class staff.......

"Sensational!
This was hands-down one of the best Indian meals I have ever had. Everything was so tasty and fresh, and all the staff are so attentive.
The prawn cocktail I ordered had about 20 king prawns in it! The dips and poppadoms were awesome and so tasty.
My curry (lamb pathia) was like a party in my mouth. There was no rush for us to leave even though they were super-busy, doggy bags for all uneaten food were offered without us asking.

PMe and my partner stopped here as passing to Ironbridge, very nice village and lovely Indian in a good location. Reasonably priced and good service. Thoroughly enjoyed and a lovely end to a day of sight seeing. On road parking near by.

"Great food"

"Awesome"

"Amazing!"
Hit the Himalaya late on a Tuesday night after a few drinks. Greeted and seated instantly by the extremely friendly staff. I love this place. Food is excellent and always tastes fresh. The friends that joined us said it was the best curry they have had.

"Amazing"
The service was excellent and the food was even better. We ordered 2 poppadoms which came which came with 4 different and plentiful dips. We had 2 curry's, garlic, nan. special fried rice and chips. The chips were outstanding, the best chips we have ever had. In all honesty, the curry's were fantastic, the nan big enough to share and the rice was tasty with lots of different ingredients in it. As the starters were pretty big, we couldn't eat all of our main, but they were happy to put it in takeout containers for us to take home. An absolutely fantastic meal, we will be returning soon.

“BEST INDIAN MEAL YET!!”
Friendly staff who couldn`t help you more, best tasting Indian I have tasted in the restaurant in the UK, lovely interior to sit and eat in, very fast service with a nice personal touch with how they serve the meal.

“Fantastic!”
Went on Saturday with a group of friends. The food and service was faultless. We were lucky enough to have a little self contained area. The staff were helpful and attentive. The wine was reasonably priced and the staff went out of their way to provide us with proper wine glasses instead if the cheap goblet ones. They recommended dishes and service was timed perfectly. All our dishes were lovely I can't fault anything. Some of our group had their dishes spiced up to individusl taste. All our friends loved it. This place has overtaken Saros by miles. Service is excellent staff knowledgeable and friendly and prices very reasonable. Thank you Himalaya for another great evening. If you like Indian you will love this.
